Born in Odessa, TX and growing up in Austin, Dallas and Nashville, Dean has done everything from backpacking across Europe, snowboard instructing in Colorado and working on the set of a Jet Li movie as a stunt man. But his favorite pastime-turned-career has been playing music. Dean describes his music as “high-energy obnoxious redneck rock n’ roll.” He started playing as a camp counselor on Possum Kingdom Lake in the mid 90’s, and shortly after moved back home to Austin to pursue a full-time music career. He has played with artists like Dwight Yoakam, Bad Company, Jerry Lee Lewis, Aaron Tippin, David Allen Coe, Pat Green and Cross Canadian Ragweed. He recently finished his new album Lady Luck, produced by C.J. Eirickson (Matchbox 20, Live, Fastball, The Refreshments), and distributed by Smith Entertainment.
Southern Train is an acoustic trio based out of San Benito, Texas. Known for their mellow, laid back, “Backyard-Bar-B-Que Rock n’ Blues” style, these valley boys cover classics from the 60’s to 90’s, plus also, perform lots of tasty original compositions as well! Southern Train has won several Internet awards for their original music, as well as holding the #1 position for the reverbnation.com, local rock and blues category. Together, Jeff Curtis (Drums), Sam Ortiz (Acoustic Bass), and “AC” Castillo (Harmonica, Acoustic Guitar, Vocals), combine their unique sounds to treat the Rio Grande Valley to some good ol’ “Backyard Bar-B-Que Rock N’ Blues!”

Ram writes simple songs about complex things he’s experienced such as overcoming obstacles in life, the strong belief in karma, and the sincere approach of expressing these ideas through music. Melding classic influences from blues legends such as Stevie Ray Vaughn, B.B. King & Robert Cray with newer rock influences like Incubus, Tool and John Mayer--Ram Danesse has managed to create his own distinct sound ready to share with the world.
Solace has been rockin the Rio Grande Valley since 2004. From Brownsville TX to Mission TX and all points in between we've been bringing it with kick ass Classic and Modern Cover Rock. We love our fans! We will not be where we are now without the love and support from our fans. They got our back and we got there's. We play covers from all the great artists such as Led Zeppelin, Stone Temple Pilots, Metallica, Guns n Roses, Seether, Deftones, ZZ Top, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam and on and on and on..lol. I, Bobby Gonzalez, formed the band in McAllen and I'm honored to work with great musicians: Franko Gonzalez on guitar, Phredo Valle on drums and Patrick Lee Garza on bass.
