16TH ANNUAL BUDWEISER SOUTH PADRE ISLAND BIKEFEST™
DONATES $48,447 TO RIO GRANDE VALLEY NON-PROFITS
Motorcycle rally leaders make annual donation to South Texas.
WHAT: The 16th annual Budweiser South Padre Island BikeFest™ brought more than 10,000 motorcycle enthusiasts through South Texas in October. Now, 23 non-profit organizations throughout the Rio Grande Valley will each receive a share of more than $48,000 raised at the event.
BikeFest organizers will present the donation to the non-profit groups in a ceremony on Wed. Dec. 2 at 6 p.m., prior to the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees hockey game.
BikeFest donates money from the rally to several South Texas charities each year. Event organizers have donated a total of $625,706 to area non-profits during the event’s sixteen-year history.
The Budweiser South Padre Island BikeFest™, also known as the “Roar by the Shore™,” is one of the country’s biggest motorcycle rallies, featuring four days of entertainment, live music, group rides and special events.

SPI BikeFest™ is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation and has donated $625,965 to South Texas charities!
